What is the focus of the acceleration program?

The focus of the program is investor readiness and finding product/market fit.
We aim to provide founders with all the tools (knowledge, contacts, and community) needed to succeed in the early-stage development of their founder journey.

How does the application process work?

The application process is set up in three stages of increasingly in-depth interviews.
Applicants who do not advance to further rounds will be provided with feedback from the team.

What support and resources do selected startups receive?

In addition to the capital invested, startups will receive exposure to further potential investors through the Demo Day and beyond; lifetime access to BuenTrip Ventures’ resource library, mentor network, community events, and perks (AWS Credits, etc.); and ongoing support from the management team.

What is the duration of the accelerator program?

This is a 12-week program, starting on Monday, April 8, and ending on Friday, June 28, 2024.

What is the format of El Programa?

El Programa is fully virtual. It includes a mixture of master classes with BuenTrip Mentors, weekly check-ins & office hours with the managing partners, and additional online events.

How much time do I have to dedicate to El Programa on a daily or weekly basis?

You can expect to commit at least 5 hours per week to the program distributed through a mixture of master classes with BuenTrip Mentors, weekly check-ins & office hours with the managing partners, and additional online events. Also, we advise setting some time aside to implement each week’s learnings.

Do you accept solo founders?

Yes, we have accepted solo founders in the past.

Does my startup have to be legally constituted in the US or Cayman Islands before applying to the program?

No. If accepted, the BuenTrip team can recommend legal and accounting services providers to help you get all documents and company structure in place.

Is equity investment required in exchange for participation?

Yes, equity investment (via SAFE) is the only way to participate in El Programa.

Do you negotiate the terms or valuation of the SAFE?

No, the fund invests through a standard, non-negotiable deal.
